Craig EC's dj career came to
a hault when his father said
he needed to leave the
islands after he graduated
high school.....(little did
dj craig ec know dad was
looking out for him to keep
him out of trouble) so after
high school DJ Craig EC
joined the army.. leaving
hawaii and heading to the
east coast.. new jersey then
virginia finally getting
stationed in missouri...
where his love for djing
returned and he landed a
weekend dj gig at the base
club... things where going
good tell he got called in
on new years day and was
told your being shipped out
to iraq... DESERT STORM.
During Desert Storm Dj Craig
EC couldn't get away for his
love of music and djing.
During Desert Storm DJ Craig
EC hooked up some boom boxes
and mix tapes he recorded
before leaving the usa.
Threw little dance party's
in the desert to help
releave all the troops
moral. later on dj craig ec
returned to the usa. After
his 4 years of military was
up he decided to work for
the goverment as a civilian.
moving out here the antelope
valley in 1992 with a job on
edwards air force base DJ
Craig EC once again got back
into djing by working at the
base club on edwards called
stripes. The club use to go
off so good people from all
around was trying to get on
the air force base to party
with dj craig ec. A local
lancaster club owner heard
of how the base club was
doing and decide to offer dj
craig ec a resident club
gig. The club was called
Schooners and in the late
90's this club rocked the AV
with over a thousand people
attending the club every
friday and saturday
night.... In 1999 Dj Craig
EC decided there was nothing
to do for teens in the av so
put together a teen night
with a radio station
97.7(102.7) kiis fm, the
teen night became so
successful local radio
personality Chester the
arrester offered DJ Craig EC
a job as an on air mixer and
they started a live mix show
from schooners in 2000
called Club Kiis..... this
show was so successful the
Dj Craig EC became known all
over the av pretty much
overnight. since then craig
ec has been involved
numerous charity's and
communty events all over the
av. For a while dj craig ec
took a break from radio but
continued to dj at schooners
throw concerts and so on
even a short movie carrer
mostly extra work but i 2005
went to work at another
radio in town as once again
as a mix show dj then fate
fell in dj craig ec's lap
one of the on air staff
couldnt make it in and the
program director was in a
bind and ask Dj Craig EC if
he would hope in and fill
in.. Dj Craig EC did so good
he was offered after drive
job at a local ac station
staying there for awhile DJ
Craig EC was offered a job
at the first Hip hop r&b and
oldschool station in the AV
100.9 The Heat. Seeing the
huge potential and the need
for this type station DJ
Craig EC join the teem and
is determined to make this
the biggest station the high
desert has ever heard....

dj hurricane.... craig ec in
